Malayer city in Hamadan province of Iran is the second largest city of the Hamadan province. It has a reputation for rug weaving and wood carving. The most part of the population in this city are occupied with wooden handicrafts and especially the production of traditional furniture. Although this art had been existed from a long time ago, it is about a half century that it has gained prosperity. Lotfalian House and Museum

The city of Malayer contains about 120 historical houses from the Qajar period, each of which is wonderful and can be considered as a tourist attraction of Malayer. Lotfalian House and Museum is a two-story brick building with an infrastructure of about 1200 meters built during the time of Fath-Ali-Shah Qajar. This complex has two inner and outer courtyards and a beautiful palace with sash doors and windows and colored glass. The most beautiful part of the house of Lotfalian is the underground, which is called the house pool, and has a stone pool with the water flow of the aqueduct. This pool house will be a good place to spend the hot days of the year in the summer. Nushijan Citadel which is one of the Malayer tourist attractions; is situated in Shusab village of Malayer on a mound 37 meters high. It dates back to the Iron Age and early Mede settlements in Iran. Nushijan is one of the world’s oldest adobe architectures, and yet one of Iran’s least known. Nushijan probably means the seat of Nush, or Anoush, which are both girls’ names in Persian, and the name of the woman who ruled over this area.

The achievements of an archaeological excavations (1964-1977) discovered three ancient architectural periods in this region: the Mede, Achaemenid, and Parthian eras. From Hafiziyah to the Tower of Pisa

Mini World (small world) is a wonderful park in Malayer, where there are various elements of Iranian and world symbols such as the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Hafeziyah and Persepolis. In general, mini worlds (miniature parks) offer examples of the world's famous buildings and structures in small dimensions and take you on a trip around the world in a short period of time. Mini World Park, which is considered one of the tourist attractions of Malayer, is supposed to house 138 historical, national and world works on a scale of one tenth. Muhammad Mirza nicknamed Seif-ol-Dowleh was one of the Qajar princes. During his trip to Malayer, he decided to develop the city and bought the city from the government in order to devote the income from it to building a hospital, school and helping the poor. This garden was built in imitation of the Safavid period garden in Isfahan (Chaharbagh, Isfahan). After the death of Seif-ol-Dowleh, according to his will, he was buried on top of the prayer hill in this garden. On his tomb, they built brick tombs with a quadrangular plan and a dome-shaped roof and decorated it with turquoise tiles. Inside the mausoleum, there is a large panel with verses from the Quran written on it, as well as some photos of Seif-ol-Dowleh and his family members.

Anuj ancient castle is located in Anuj village, 35 km southwest of Malayer.
